Meta changed how WhatsApp Business API is billed in July 2025. Most guides still explain the old model. This page gives you the complete, accurate breakdown — what Meta charges, what your BSP charges, and exactly what Intigate Technologies costs.

Layer 1: Meta's Per-Message Fee

This is the charge Meta levies directly for every template message your business sends. It depends on the message category — Marketing, Utility, Authentication, or Service — and the recipient's country. These charges go to Meta, not your BSP.

Layer 2: Your BSP's Platform Fee

On top of Meta's rates, the Business Solution Provider (BSP) you choose charges a monthly subscription for platform access — including the inbox, chatbot builder, campaign manager, analytics, and support. Both costs must be factored into your WhatsApp ROI calculation.

Effective 1 July 2025, Meta moved from conversation-based pricing (one flat fee per 24-hour window) to per-message pricing — every delivered template message is billed individually. Businesses sending multiple template messages per conversation now pay per message rather than per window.

No. Meta's per-message charges are billed directly by Meta to your Facebook Business Manager wallet. Intigate's subscription fee covers platform access only — the inbox, chatbot, campaign manager, and support. You will see two separate line items on your books.

The Enterprise plan removes Intigate's limits on contacts, campaigns, bot replies, and agents. Meta's per-message charges still apply for every template message sent — those are Meta's fees, not Intigate's. Your Meta wallet must be sufficiently funded for high-volume campaigns.
You can upgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard and the change takes effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partially used billing periods.
Green Tick (Official Business Account) verification is applied for through Meta directly. Intigate assists with the application process for Growth and Enterprise clients at no additional charge. Approval is at Meta's discretion and typically requires a recognisable brand with a significant online presence.
